How to compare paid survey sites before joining

Compare what matters before the welcome bonus

This is a selection checklist, not a ranking based on hands-on tests of named providers. Start with country and minimum age. Then check the available withdrawal method, minimum balance, fees if any, expiration rules and support contact. A large advertised bonus is of little use if you cannot withdraw it.

Make a two-site comparison sheet

Record registration time, attempted surveys, completed surveys, approved credit and minutes lost to screen-outs. Use the same total time budget for each service. Do not compare one unusually successful survey with another service's entire session. Keep sensitive answers out of your tracking sheet.

Compare results, not headline rates

Illustrative example: Site A credits $2 after 40 total minutes and Site B credits $1.50 after 20 minutes. The observed session rates are $3 and $4.50 per hour respectively. These are fictional examples, not provider rates or a prediction of your next session.

Check privacy and support

Read what profile data is collected and how to close the account. Look for a help process for missing credit. A dashboard balance or positive review alone does not prove a service will pay you. If you qualify for a small withdrawal, test that process before spending more time.

Sources and scope

These are decision tools and illustrative calculations, not measured earning results or provider rankings. For warning signs, read the FTC guidance on job scams. Birthday Hunter publishes this guide and operates its own rewards app; references to that app are not independent recommendations.
