Find better survey value: compare reward with total time

A bigger reward is not always better

We do not have comparable independent test results that identify a highest-paying survey app. Rates and eligibility vary. Instead, compare the amount actually credited with the total time you spent, including screening, loading, registration and failed attempts.

Use a simple calculation

Observed hourly rate equals approved reward divided by total minutes, multiplied by 60. Illustrative example: a $3 survey taking 45 minutes is $4 per hour. A $1 survey taking 10 minutes is $6 per hour. Neither example accounts for screen-outs, so keep a session log for a more useful comparison.

Include unsuccessful attempts

If that $1 survey also required two five-minute screenings, the total is 20 minutes and the observed rate drops to $3 per hour. Do not subtract those minutes simply because the provider did not pay for them. Also record whether credit is approved, pending or reversed.

Choose a stopping rule

Set a time limit before browsing. Stop if repeated screening failures use it up or if the remaining reward cannot reasonably reach a usable withdrawal. Do not speed through or misrepresent answers to qualify. Your own completed sessions are more useful than a top-paying label.
